SpinJocket offers a modern, simulation-based SIS that simplifies scheduling, grading, communication, and compliance — designed by a teacher who’s lived the frustration of legacy software.
From student data imports to interactive scheduling dashboards, we build Laravel- and Vue-based features tailored to the exact needs of your school or district — no unnecessary bloat, just clean design and practical function.
We believe technology should serve educators. SpinJocket provides responsive support, transparent pricing, and feature updates shaped by direct teacher feedback — not corporate agendas.

In 1998, I began my career as a second-year teacher in Southern Oregon, spending the next 25 years helping students grow while navigating the rise of education technology. During that time, I worked with systems like eSIS—later rebranded as Synergy—which promised to streamline education but often left teachers feeling more burdened than supported. Those years shaped my belief that technology should serve educators, not the other way around.

Around 2001, eSIS was introduced with promises of making teaching “slick” and efficient. While it did automate some processes, it quickly became clear that the system was designed for administrative convenience—not classroom realities. For many of us, it became a daily reminder of how disconnected software could be from the real work of teaching.

When eSIS rebranded as Synergy, teachers hoped for meaningful improvements. While the interface changed and a few features were added, the underlying structure—and many of the same frustrations—remained. For educators in the trenches, it still felt like the system was working against us instead of with us.

By 2025, after years of watching schools rely on outdated, overpriced systems built on legacy code, I decided to build something better. SpinJocket was born from the belief that educators deserve intuitive, efficient, and genuinely helpful tools—software designed by someone who’s lived the classroom experience and understands what real support looks like.
We're taking the wishlist of our teaching years of experience and applying it to the development of something that will prevent the kind of suffering we endured from carrying on with future generations of teachers.
